This question was simple but the answer is complex

The question "How often do you drink?" was asked at the forums on 3fc (here)

So I start typing my answer...and of course...I need to explain right? So after I wrote it all out..I decided maybe the explanations were more for here than on that forum technicially..because I feel that's "filler" they didn't really ask for...so here we go.

Q: How often do you drink?

A: hmm..well!

16-18 -> probably about 1 or 2 wasted saturdays or friday nights..every other month or so...my best friend's brother's parties..(yeah I know..underage drinking..blah..blah) The only weight I remember is when I was a senior it was 222. (thats with 6am-10am practices every day, football games and Saturday morning competitions...which always required 2 extra hours of practice) Did me an my friend drink the night before competitions? sometimes, but it never affected us negatively...minus being a lil pissy in the morning..but who isn't at 5am anyways??

19-> ..pretty much 2 or 3 times a week...moved in with my best friend..her boyfriend and his friend..both were over 21...we knocked back the Smirnoff and Jager like water and scarfed the fast food at near 3am and baked brownies and all kinds of treats. Then would wake up at 7am and go work in a very stressful office (gained 22 lbs...got upset about my lifestyle choices..moved out because they still wanted their lifestyle and I needed a different one)

20-21-> partied every other saturday at the club....but we did dance all night..from 10pm to 4am...so..not so killer. Lost those 22 lbs because I stopped getting drunk every other day...plus 2 weeks I was strapped for cash...boss provided slim fast for us...he was on a health kick at the time..so I drink 3 slim fasts a day..but each 1 with 2 (16oz) glasses of water because they are just gross to me...I was down from 240 to 218 within those 2 weeks and was also going to curves. However I was extra pale..and when payday came...back to the "bad" foods. Got a raise...ate more bad foods cause I could afford nummy fajitas for lunch! gained almost 20 back

22 - Got accepted to an out of state college in an extra small town and lived with brother who was also accepted to the school. Drink twice the whole year I was there. Of course broke college student menus that consisted of ramen noodles until I literally got sick on them....so we switched to spaghetti with beef....then...turkey then just noodles and sauce...I loved the noodle and sauce spaghetti the best! I still had the long practices...walked to school some times...1 mile each way. Lost those 20 I gained before leaving for college.

23- came back home from college due to mother's illness....I'm at the doctor's appts all day almost everyday with mom...I don't wanna cook. It's back to fast food for lunch and dinner....now I'm at my highest weight of all! 262...yikes I said it but I don't drink like I have before...maybe 2 or 3 drinks...every month and sadly I have to say...it's way harder to dance now and I hate that!

That's my story and I have the pounds to prove it....but it's going to change!

First you seen my puppy dog....

and now here I am!

This picture was taken at my god-daughter's christening last Saturday the 13th. And like always..I seem to duck the cameras...and be the photographer sometimes, however, not this time I was in the ceremony. (from left to right) Pastor Ron, I'm in the black and pink, Ashley and her baby Kaylee and Jordan's behind her..he's the god-father. This photo was also taken right before my cell rang....Jordan popped a balloon and the phone behind Ashley rang...so Pastor Ron decided he would take a few minutes pause for anything else funny to happen...then he continued.

Faux Onion Rings

Faux Onion Rings:

1 sliced onion (I used a yellow onion)
1 egg (could've used just egg white)
2 cups of Panko bread crumbs (these are extra crunchy!!)
--Preheated oven to 375---
2 little containers

Fork whisk the egg in one container and place a bed of panko crumbs in the other container.
PS: Add a little of the panko crumbs in container as needed....you don't really need all of the 2 cups but that was just a guesstimate. lol

Dip the onion slices in the egg wash first..then roll it around in the bread crumbs. Then place on a non-stick sprayed cookie sheet. *repeat* until onion is all gone..or you run out of room on your cookie sheet!
Cook for 20-25 minutes. Then enjoy your extra crunchy little onion rings!

This has been adapted from HungryGirl's version coated with Fibre1 cereal because the cereal is too coarse and I have no food processor to grind it down to breadcrumb size.

Just when I wanted....

Just when I wanted to get on track...a little speed bump!

I've been having a serious sinus attack which aggravated my wisdom teeth.....which happened right after stepping on broken glass...so I was a mess for a few days...but I'm back darn it!

So for the update...tonight I made SUPER crispy ranch chicken.

The sparkrecipe version uses rice krispies for the breading on the chicken. I didn't have any :(

So on a grocery store venture...about 2 weeks ago...I bought panko bread crumbs to make faux onion rings because I can't get the fibre coating crumbly enough..no food processor.

The Fitness Challenge

Again, a challenge inspired by Carissa!

I'm challenging myself to 30 minutes a day, including the weekends! Right now I have a shoe string budget...so it looks like the old school VHS(s) are fixing to get dusted off. (Ie: Taebo and Tony Little..they were my dad's) but I do have one of those big exercise balls and 2 sets of small weights and I do remember some of the workouts I learned a few years ago..when my old boss hired a personal trainer for us...if we traded in our lunch break for workout time.

I've also been looking at starting a c25k mentioned at 3fc...but I'll need to read more and find my ipod charger!

Youch!!

So this morning after falling asleep on the couch...(wasn't feeling well)

I went to my bed...then when I woke up after tossing and turning.... I went to bathroom..and on the way there..I stepped on broken glass...YOUCH!! (gotta go find where it came from now!)  Then after that...my sinuses started acting up and caused a toothache!  :(
